Head Start for Onions

I watered the planting medium with a diluted organic fertilizer solution, then put the onion in each cell, root side down, of course. Shallots at the top, the rest are various types of onions, such as Stelton, Stuttgarter, and red onion. I was not happy with the quality of these onion starts, which I got from Gurney's.  I've had better quality from other seed companies, although I may have paid a bit more.
