It's going to be one of those Summers. I just found MORE poison ivy!!

I was clearing another fence line and there it was. It was pretty low and I was cutting pretty high. My neighbors don't do much of any upkeep on their trees, etc., so I have a lot of overhanging stuff to get rid of.

Anyhoo..... I had my vinegar spray bottle and DRENCHED my arms and gardening gloves. After dousing the truly evil weed with Brush Killer I came inside and washed my arms with a healthy squirt of Dawn dish detergent.

The redness and itching from my current 'experience' are finally fading, although there are still a few random blisters, so the last thing I want is another encounter. I have an appointment with new NP on Wednesday and maybe she will prescribe something for what is left that I can use should this happen again.

Some people are immune to the oil in these plants.
They do landscaping work here in the hills.

Just saying ....
