It's A Gardening Weekend..

1. I'm mucking out our "pen" and going to build a gardening table

for my wife and daughter.

Our neighbors recently moved and they had to tear apart the treehouse /play structure in their back yard. I said I’ll take the lumber. Treated 4x4’s and basically ready made table top made out of a climbing wall.

We have a fenced off area in our back yard. In a corner. It was a dog pen. Moved all the stuff out now getting ready to do some heavy scooping and dumping of leaves.

2. I just finished a whole lot of tree and wild rose bush trimming.

I spotted some poison ivy so I'm going to DESTROY it before it tries to destroy me.

This afternoon I'm going to pour a glass of wine and enjoy it while sitting beneath the branches of my 'air conditioned' tree. Hopefully my outdoor work supervisor, the oh so handsome furball Dylan, will agree I've done enough work for a Caturday morning. I have been up and 'at it' since 6.

3. I'm cleaning a section of our golf course that has become a freaking jungle

and abuts our backyard. It's the only section they neglect. I'm so over this!
