Related: About this forumAnybody know what flowers or vegetables I can plant this time of year in Florida?
I have a planter just outside the front door. It's not very big, but it could use some new plantlings.
Thanks.

(16,576 posts)you've left alot out of your query. Is the planter deep, shallow, which drection does it face, what was in it and is in it now and most importantly, what zone are you in. Florida has a few of them.
I'd reccommend OKRA, Lantana, any philodendren, a few bush crepe myrtles, potatos for ground cover and maybe a FrangiPangi.
Not being snarky but as the rest of the country goes to harvest we get going on our second planting
