my green house is here!!

just a 10' x 10' plastic jobber, but it will be a thing sitting on my lot, so it is just a little more like a farm.
gotta get some barrels, as i ordered some bare root trees and suppose they will be shipping shortly. gotta find some bulk potting soils, too. the main place for that stuff doesn't open till march 19. foo.

If so, I just have a bit of advice for you: Do NOT trust the little wire "spring" type clips it comes with to hold the polycarbonate glazing panels in place when the wind gets over about 30 mph. They won't do the job, and you'll end up with lost panels, possibly wind burnt or frozen plants, etc.

What I ultimately did to take care of that issue was to buy some tiny, self-drilling screws just long enough to go through the glazing and into the aluminum frame but not so long they came out the other side, and ended up putting two screws in each corner of each panel. Permanently solved the problem.

Alas, I no longer have that little greenhouse, got rid of it, but I liked it, it was cute but too small, mine was only a 6 x 8.

Those are actually really great. I have one of their coldframe models.

The wind warning still applies, though. I line up cement blocks along the edges of the sides to make sure it stays down -- better safe than sorry.

one of those little "tower" type that holds 2 flats per shelf, 4 shelves. lots of capacity. it is on my enclosed back porch with all the cold tolerant stuff.
