I got wedgies all the time in middle school. My mom yelled at me for "stretching my undies".

I didn't dare tell her that I was getting wedgies. Some girl who hated me scribbled all over every page in my spiral bound notebook (like an 80 page one) and my mom made a huge fuss of it with the principal and made her mom come in and buy me a new notebook. I got teased for months after that. Do you think there's any way I'd tell her about getting wedgies from guys that looked like baboons? I'm sure THAT would have gone over well.

My point is, don't denigrate children for things that happen TO them. Try to understand why, but let them have their dignity. Sorry, I just needed to get that out.

On Edit: If a guy tried to give me a wedgie now I would pull his lungs out through his nostrils.
