I'm watching the news and my angst and stress are high. Then this little guy comes along

Both he and Gryff love tummy scritches. Madoc does, when he forgets that he doesn't. He's more of a chin scritch guy.

But lately I’ve felt a certain degree of anxiety also. I forgot who posted this link here but I found it very enlightening and hopeful, not easy to find these days. My only wish is that I was 10 years younger but that’s a little selfish. Hope the article helps. Love them kitties.

19. His face has such a sweet, calming look.

His markings are very similar to a previous cat of mine. That cat had long legs and big ears as a kitten, too. When he was full grown, he weighed 20 pounds and none of it was extra for his frame and size. The vet techs used to joke that they needed a whip and chair to handle cats that big. But he was a sweetheart, easy going and charming.

We never even took him to the vet's in a carrier. He sat calmly on my lap, making friends with the dogs and cats in the waiting room, until we were called.
