I told the vet about how I'm compensating for Arthur's preference for his brother's 'big boy' food

Mixing it in with kitten food so that he gets those extra nutrients. He told me that's just fine and not to worry about it. Him eating their food certainly isn't a problem.

Of course, the big boys never had a problem with stealing kitten food from the babies.

I'm now wondering if the reason the feral kittens I've fed grow so much smaller than Madoc and Gryff is because all I've ever fed them is regular kibble mixed with a little regular pate. They seem healthy - just smaller.

If you put out kitten food for the feral kittens, adult cats would eat it, too, possibly not leaving any for the kittens.
