You, me and a lot of others are going to miss these 3 little ones. But there are the other 3 who live with you. How big is your feral colony?

Most of them have become somewhat comfortable around me. Scooter is the only one I can touch but at least they are starting to eat while I'm still dishing out the food.

It will be a delayed meal, this morning. It's VERY cold and raining.

I have one regular anymore, Maxie. He looks at me when I talk to him, but I have to be 10 or 12 feet away.

It's supposed to be a bitter cold Winter. I want to put a few shelters on the deck or against the house. There's a place on the east side that would give them a little more protection AND make it easier for me to feed them.

and thick flurries. It was heavy, slushy snow and has melted, but it's still cold and you can smell snow in the air. We are forecast to get another inch or two of accumulating snow tomorrow or early Friday morning.

Too early! The leaves are still on the trees!

Scared feral kittens turn into sweet snugly babies! This whole thing with this batch has gone so quickly overall, kind of a whiz-bang sort of thing.

They look like they are at about the 8 week mark, which makes this fast progress pretty surprising. Well, except for Gwyn since his comfort level with me was obvious a good week or so before bringing them all inside.

Carys is still a little resistant but she is definitely getting more and more comfortable with being held. She lets herself be held and scritched for a while and lets you know when she's had enough.

He would make a great cat for an nursing home. If I’m not sitting down he follows me around the house complaining he doesn’t have a lap to nap on.
