Related: About this forumAt 5:30 this morning feline shenanigans ensued. I suspect they were instigated by Carys
I have NO idea what they were using to make that noise but it wasn't glass breaking so I stayed in bed.
Carys DID spend the entire night curled up next to me. That's a first. Last night she was most adamant that scritches MUST continue, non stop. When I did have the temerity to move my hand she'd grab my arm, using those little needle claws, and bring it back to scritching position. Scritches continued until she fell asleep.
She's still skittish during the day but I have a ton of patience when it comes to these cuties.

(347 posts)they range from 4 to 12 years old and while one sleeps beside me all night, the others are in and out. Even as older cats, I hear so many thumps and strange noises in the middle of the night, I joke to my family that I would never know if my house is haunted as everything is chalked up to cats in my subconscious! lol As a side note, I never see them play with toys, yet wake up with several in my bed each morning, piled like kittens. I return them all to their basket at the other end of the house each morning. They are life long company and entertainment for sure!
