Related: About this forumI can confirm that Carys IS the leader of the morning shenanigans
This morning it started at 4:30. Madoc was her partner in knocking things around.
She is getting a bit more confident. She spent most of yesterday in which ever room the boys and I were in. This morning she was jumping up to swat at the TV screen. I got in some rare morning scritches. Now she's going crazy with the big whiffle ball. If I walk by, she swats it at me to toss for her. That's new, just this morning.
She's actually far more 'out in the open' active, right now, than I've ever seen her be. It's pretty cute. I'm hoping the next step is for her to jump up on the chair to sit on my lap.
Well, time to feed the ferals. No doubt they have already gathered at the door. Must keep ALL of the fur babies happy and healthy.

It's a lot to take in. Sounds like she'll be the ring leader of shenanigans for a while with the boys happily joining in.
I'm a little jealous of all that kitten fun you're having!
And all those fur babies to keep you warm this winter!

(27,292 posts)Even when I'd put out food and go inside to watch, she was the last to come up to the food bowls. Now she's the first, and don't turn your back on her!
I'm going on another hunt for whiffle balls, today, because she loves to chase them and the fact she's pushing them towards me to toss is a good step in the right direction. I've lost count of how many are missing.
