I had the longest cuddle time ever with Carys, last night
At one point she actually jumped up on the chair I was sitting in. That was a first.
There were a couple of false starts - she'd come up and ask for scritches but after a minute or two she would jump down and run off.
Then as I was about to fall asleep (of course) she leaned against me while she gave herself a good groom. At one point, as she was grooming her 'under carriage' she almost kicked me in the eye with her rear leg! When she finally finished she gave me some nibbles and kisses, wrestled with my hand and then stretched out right next to me, draped herself across my arm and dozed off.
This morning she is back to her 'catch me if you can!!' behavior, but that's fine. She's no longer darting away when I walk past her. And she's spending lots more time as a part of the gang. Every single day she inches closer to fully trusting me.
