Carys has caught on to my wily ways, when it comes to giving her medication

My usual 'grab her while she's rubbing up against my ankle when I'm dishing up food' has run its course. It's her last dose so I'll just wait it out. She's bound to let her guard down, some time today.

On the other hand, Arthur falls for it about 90% of the time. Once he's wrapped up in that blanket, he just gives up. He's got a couple more days of antibiotics.

Vet gave me a pill shooter.

Worked the 1st time as she is very trusting.

Yeah, I ended up having to take her back for a shot of convenia, a 2-week abx shot.

I never want to try that again.

Glad your babies are easier to deal with.

style of giving a pill to my biggest baby, the Norwegian, exactly twice. Gave it up. He was way too smart to stay purrito'd. No matter how tightly I wrapped him up in that towel (or the baby blanket later on), he managed to weasel enough of himself out to escape. I finally ended up just grinding up the pill and adding it to Fancy Feast, which he gobbled up like normal. Silly Kitty, but smart!
