Related: About this forumI couldn't figure out how Arthur kept escaping his new protective collar
So I decided to actually read what was on the back of the box. Turns out it is used in conjunction with a regular collar that slides under some bands. Which, of course, makes sense so I had to hunt down one of the cute collars I've purchased and the boys have rejected.
I had hoped to be fast asleep, by now. Fingers crossed this solves the problem.
By the way, I'm being boycotted by ALL of the kitcats so I'm sleeping alone. Seems they are in solidarity with Arthur against the mean Mom Queen.

I bet at least two of them will forgive you and join you by morning.

(24,408 posts)Madoc: Hey, kits. Watch out. She's turned on us. Stay away for your own good. Gryff, maybe we can free Arthur when mom goes to sleep. Carys, you can stand guard. Let us know if she wakes up. We gotta hang together until mom comes back to her senses.
Gryff: Sure thing, Madoc. We can handle this.
Carys: Let's try the cold shoulder treatment first. Ignore mom. Stick together and shut her out. That might bring her around.
Madoc and Gryff: OK sis. Brief reprieve for mom during breakfast. Can't skip that. We'll need our strength. Soon as we eat, it's back to the cold shoulder treatment. We can do this. We're a team.
