Carys is so unpredictable.

For instance, last night I was working on a jig saw puzzle. On line, of course, because CATS. She was on the top of the cat tree, right across the room, just sitting and staring at me. All of a sudden she jumped down from the platform, ran across the room, jumped up on me, put her front paws on my shoulder and started to purr. That lasted for a few minutes and then she hopped down and headed back to the cat tree.

Then she turned on a time, hopped back up on me and stretched out, again, purring and rubbing her head against my chin.

It's like the part of her that is still feral says 'Better not risk it!! Run away!!' but the socialized part says 'Ah, that felt good. Run back!!'

She is a joyous challenge, that's for sure.

straw out of any container I was drinking out of and of course the straw had to be thrown away after being dragged all around the house. How did I solve it? I bought a bread box to put on my kitchen counter whose only purpose is to store my drinking containers when I'm not sipping out of them. He's frustrated I can tell cuz he's now going for the cupboard doors.
