Related: About this forumI think I finally REALLY won Carys over.
Over the past few days I've noticed a big change in her behavior. She's been running to me and meowing when I sing her song, letting me pick her up, and today she's been all in for lots of full contact playing.
Certainly a long way from her days as Mysterio, the extremely shy kitten, who hid when ever I came into sight.

(92,732 posts)Was going to like you so much. She certainly seems to enjoy being in the house which is good. If she can see the kitties outside, she gets that. I think she's a smart little girl and will keep her brothers in line, mostly with play and snuggles. She's definitely going to take the alpha position from Arthur. He can be symbolic alpha but she's the real deal.

(27,291 posts)Moon Dust, Carys' sister, is still kind of shy but she LOVES watching 'Star Wars'. Go figure. Space Boy is a little more social.

(27,291 posts)Gryff is pretty vocal when I'm in the kitchen or hallway. Madoc and Arthur give me an occasional meow. Carys follows me around, meowing up a storm.
It has been so much fun watching her get more and more comfortable with me. I was a little concerned if I had made the right decision to keep her, instead of finding her another home. Now I'm sure I was right because she's settled in as part of the family.
