Related: About this forumHooray and hallelujah, Tiger is here!! Thank you all so much for helping me worry
Showing good appetite now washing up. Thank goodness I had been calling him all day so I went out on the porch and loudly open the can of fancy feast, a little while later I looked out and saw him crawling out of his little hidey hole.
Patches is glad to see him too

(34,370 posts)He looks in great condition for a feral cat his age! It looks like he does not miss your lovely meals very often. Beautiful.
I am so happy for you, I thought about you and Tiger all day. YAY YAY YAY

(34,370 posts)as I get ready to sleep. My one remaining in house feral is sleeping on my arm, he is a total house cat now but he got out a month ago and went on a journey. Scared me to death. When he was new here but not inside yet he lived in a part of the woods next to my house. He had an unusual meow call so I used it back to him and he would come over for food. He has been inside for many years now but he decided to escape just a month or so ago. I located him by using the same meow call, it was so fun to hear him use it back again.
I am thrilled that your kitty is back. It is so scary when they leave and you know you might never know. I can sleep with a smile tonight. Not much to smile about lately but this has made me really happy. I love to hear about all the love we have for our dear, furry friends. (((HUGS)))

(6,641 posts)A15 pound stray adopted us 3 years ago when we moved here. Kind of skittery, a mostly outdoor cat an very street smart.
No idea about his history, we suspect abandoned by previous residents. We call him Tiger because of his magnificent stripes.
We have a special bond: he will come for food and treats now, and even stay overnight at times. Anyhow, he disappears for a day or two, and I worry and watch and call him. And I'm SO relieved when he comes back.
These little guys have a way, ya know?

(35,685 posts)My tiger was born in this yard under the very deck where he hides in the rain, trapped neutered and released as a kitten. He is feral with everybody but me
