His days are numbered...

To be honest, he didn’t look all that great when we got him almost 4 years ago at the age of 14. We didn’t expect him to last this long, but hopefully he has appreciated the retirement home with the catio and the windowsill bed. He never did warm up to us enough to allow pets. A true rescue cat this one was.. will not be getting a new one for quite awhile - my fiance would like her closet / craft room back, and we have 2 other cats that will be happy to be able to use the outdoor space that’s been reserved for him. I’m glad the warm weather has come back in time for him to catch a few last rays, smells and sounds out there. RIP in advance, Forest.

You can never tell about animals. Some relate to you, others don't care. Who knows what kind of life this cat had before you got it....it's lucky to have people that gave her the room to live her days out in the way she's experiencing it..

who passed several months ago at age 24. They get that "look" that you recognize as the beginning of the end. I hope he goes to sleep and drifts off into the land of eternal sunshine. I miss my old boy so much and I know you will miss him. Dear Forest, goodnight.

Thank you, BWdem4life, for caring for him … he looks to be a good soul, regardless of his ability to accept your affection.
