Poor Gryff is going through floofy toy withdrawal

Carys found the toy and, as is her habit, tossed it into the water bowl to drown. By the time Gryff found it, well, it was saturated.

I squeezed it out as best I could and then set it on a window sill to dry. Now Gryff is searching EVERYWHERE for his beloved floof ball.

Personally, I'm glad my arm is getting a rest. That boy wants to play fetch, pretty much 24/7.

her fuzzy little windup chicken into her water bowl. She hadn't done that in ages now. I never knew if she was trying to drown it or baptize it.

that played with a little fuzzy ball with a happy face on it. She liked to chase after those so much. Unfortunately once in a while I would find one in her water bowl so I would have to squeeze the water out the best I could and let it dry out. A time or two I would find them in her cat box and those went in the trash. Luckily I kept a supply of those happy face fuzzy balls on hand😊

even though she does not dump them onto her water bowl any more. Her Chickie is her comfort toy that she carries around with her whenever she is anxious or upset. After a while, they get dirty or the plastic beak or feet break off. Then I pull out a new one from storage and rub it against her and let her sniff it afterwards. Once she accepts it, I toss out the old one when she is not looking. I've lost track of the number but I think she's on Chickie #5.

Every afternoon, while I'm watching 'Deadline White House' she hops up on my lap for extended snuggles and falls asleep. However, she does keep me guessing. Sometimes she will run up to me but when I reach down to pet her, she runs off. Other times she meows to let me know she's deemed me worthy to touch her.

I am SO glad I decided to keep her.

When she's had enough of that fun. Perhaps she sees your fatigue and is indicating that that's enough of that.

What fun to have all those personalities to enjoy! I'm going out to visit Mikey and his mom tomorrow. That will be nice.
