Just did a check on Owain

He and his mom are snuggled beneath the shrub on the side of the house. This is where they seem to spend good weather days. They still use the shelter at night.

I'm still formulating a capture plan because the space Owain uses is in the back of the shelter and VERY narrow. I'm definitely going to need a glove because grabbing him by the scruff would be nearly impossible.

Cinder and Smoke's mom is getting those squee feelings so there's a chance I might have already found him a home. But I won't get ahead of myself.

1. Do you think Skittish would give you trouble if

she saw you taking her kitten out of the shelter, or if you picked him up when he was beside the house with her?

3. I'm not sure.

When I sat next to him, she was there and didn't seem at all stressed. However, her seeing me pick him up might be another issue.

Scooter used to sit by very calmly when her kittens came up to me, and when I picked up Space Boy.

4. She might be familiar enough with you now

to let you handle Owain. Maybe better if she is not right next to him at the time, just to be sure.
