I'm worried about them, today. There's a potential for some nasty storms. I'm moving the play pen to the screened in porch. If that weather hits when they are in the yard, I might just scoop them up and let them ride out the storm in comfort.

Brindle is probably the best camouflage.

We rescued a brindle once that had been declawed, yet that cat caught so many birds it was ridiculous.

This was long, long ago. I'd never let a cat outside now that we know better.

Dead ringer for my Grey Mouser when she was that age.
Then of course, there was a theater cat of my acquaintance who reveled in the Shakespearean name of "Thrice The Brindle Cat".
