The evening sprinkler play with Maybee and Nova.

It’s HOT here in western Montana. Not Phoenix hot but 100 degrees is hot for us northerners. Three plays a day keeps my border collie from losing her mind. We usually hike but it’s too hot for me to get very far and Maybee needs movement. Her tongue is epic, btw.

But a wet dog is a happy dog most of the time!

I'd be in big trouble without AC. Had to water all my flowers at 11am, the sprinklers water every morning right now, and again after the sun went down. All potted plants had to go in the grass and off the steps because it was too hot for them there.

I'm ready for winter now.

plants every morning and sometimes in the evening too. I didn’t have AC until 2017…I put it in not for heat but for fire season…but I’m so grateful I did. I’ll be posting pics of the plume coming off the Big Knife fire tomorrow. Shirt is getting real. I’m definitely ready for fall and that is saying a lot considering last winter lasted for frigging ever.

Is whether we even have a winter this year seeing how places that should be in winter are having the same weather we are instead!

I am sure ready for cooler weather.

Our pack go outside to do what they gotta do, then come back to the door and demand AC. Even with that, we still have a floor fan going for the Pyr's to lay in front of.

Only 70's today, and breezy. It was great!

We had three 30 minute plays today and a one mile walk at lunchtime . It’s after 10pm and she’s got the zoomies right now.

I’m completely envious of 70 degrees! It sounds like heaven.

She doesn't have much success in enticing the two Pyr's to chase her right now though.

They appreciate water in hot weather & looks as if you've made them very happy.
