Chocolate Is Going To His Fur-Ever Home Today!

Of my three "Ice Cream Boys" foster kittens, Vanilla (flame-point Siamese) was adopted last week. Chocolate (Tuxie) is being picked up this evening. Only Strawberry (orange tabby) is left.

I feel like a proud parent on graduation day!

I always love seeing my rescues going to a loving home but I sure do miss them.

I thought they went first. Whatever. I hope all three end up in happy homes.

5. A family initially wanted the orange one

But got here and the white flame-point had other ideas. He went right up to their little girl and chose her as his human! I was trying to get the dad to take both of them. Our organization gives a discount for adopting two, because we want people to adopt from the same litter. But, he was adamant.

We're hoping that they'll come back and decide that they want Strawberry, too. Meanwhile, he's enjoying unlimited Mom and Dad time, as well as hanging out with "Unka Bruno".

7. And We have a Potential Adopter

For Strawberry, too! We're Zooming with them tonight. They have 3 kids.

Since his brothers left, Berry has become a lot more crazy. He's got that BIG KITTEN ENERGY that was previously taken up by playing with his brothers. We're going to try to convince the family to adopt another one of the many kittens available through the rescue organization.
