This will be a hard night for Tudor but things will get better from this point, on

He really wants out of the playpen but I think that since Dylan is with him, they will eventually cuddle up and fall asleep. They will get fed, again, around 10 or 11 and then they should be good for the night.

I've got to spends some time with the indoor kidcats. Gryff was reaching up for me to give him some attention. Madoc is pretty much glued to my side, right now.

So, tomorrow will be a new beginning for everyone. I bought one of those back pack pet carriers so I might just tote him around in that, for a while. Of course I'll have to put something in the bottom to raise him up so that he will be able to see out the bubble window.

I'm so glad I made that third trip outside to see if I could find him, after that rain storm. I was convinced he was sheltering somewhere but I knew I wouldn't rest easy until I confirmed he was OK. And, of course, he wasn't. I think I'd seen a video posted by someone who found a kitten in similar peril and just reran and duplicated what reacted. Well, and common sense helped.

I'm also hoping that Dylan clues him in to what a litter box is for. Tudor is a bit hit or miss on that.

I'm down to 9 in my family... plus the dog that could pass for a pony. It's a lot of work every day... but there's nothing like being surrounded by all the loving when life works to get you down, or you just don't feel good. They give back so much more than they take from us.

My youngest now is almost 2. My oldest is 23. Besides food and utilities, vet bills are where our money goes. I'm a worrywart, too. But I have to admit, I envy you... that many young ones! What a delight to just curl up in a chair and watch them.

Good luck and stay safe... everybody!

I was in and out of the house, all day, so I didn't turn on the AC. She's now stretched out next to me. MUCH more comfortable for both of us.

Your kindness and love for them is bottomless. You are the best cat mom in history.
