Tudor is kind of lethargic, this morning. I was afraid he might be going into 'failure to thrive' mode, which I guess isn't that uncommon for a 'runt'. BUT he is eating and drinking but just not as much as usual I took him out and he did run around for a bit.
Then I decided to give Dylan a really good flea combing and bring him in to the screened in porch with Tudor. Since the older kidcats are still keeping their distance, maybe Tudor is just lonely.
I'll give it a day and then get signed up on the waiting list at the vets, for Monday. If things look to be getting bad, I think there is an emergency vet a few miles from here. BUT he is eating and wants to snuggle so hopefully he just needs some 4 legged companionship.

(27,291 posts)However, since he's meowing for me and crawling up to snuggle against my neck, I'm going to remain hopeful. He also ate some pate and I'm making sure he is hydrated by using an eye dropper to give him water.
He's been pooping and peeing so I know he's been eating. I just noticed, this morning, how lethargic he had become. I wonder if that flea bath I gave him triggered something. I might be beating myself up, soon, regardless of the outcome.

(27,291 posts)All I know, for sure, is I won't be going anywhere without this little boy right by my side. I even miss his gnawing on my fingers!!

(27,291 posts)I've worked so hard to keep this boy around.
I think I'll cry for a few minutes, take a deep breath and carry on. Well. Carry on as best I can with a kitten perched on the back of my neck.

(27,291 posts)He's taking it down, just fine, and is sleeping quite soundly. He has been up and bumbling, just a bit. I might try giving him a taste of pate and then more if he will eat it.
I have a feeling I'll be up all night, just keeping an eye on him. He is in good voice, I'll give him that!
Hopefully this is just an off day for him. He's been through one hell of a lot over the past 10 or so days.
