Related: About this forumThe kittens just had their first experience of getting their faces washed
Some of them had so much dried discharge around their eyes and just moist cotton balls weren't removing much of it. So I cut up a cloth and brought out a jug of very warm water. Everyone but Tegan sat very patiently while I pretty much soaked and melted that dried goo from around their eyes and across their cute little faces. Tegan is pretty feisty for a tiny black kitten but she eventually gave in to the comfort of clean fur.
As soon as they were all cleaned up they started grooming each other and then went in to play mode.
I'll get some new photos posted, later.

(27,300 posts)Absolutely heart breaking to see her just sitting, unsure of what to do.
It has to be uncomfortable, both when they are shut and the process of opening them but she is so patient.
I'm hoping that cleaning up all of that crusty stuff from around their eyes and in their fur will make a big difference. I'll know by later today. This will probably also help the medicine to be more effective.
