Related: About this forumThis morning's fur baby wake up call was sure unique.
I first woke up at 1:30 and didn't fall back to sleep until well after 4. During that whole time Sian was stretched out next to me, undisturbed by my tossing and turning. I wish I could sleep like that.
At 5:30 she decided she REALLY needed to be under the covers, curled up against my stomach while purring. OK, the house wasn't cold but she's forgiven. Arthur, who could hear her purring but couldn't see her, decided his best search vantage point was jumping on and then standing on me.
The others took turn racing across the bed, sometimes jumping over me, sometimes landing on me.
I gave up on sleep but hopefully I can get some quality nap time in when all of the indoor fur babies are snoozing.
Meanwhile, I REALLY need some coffee!

(27,300 posts)My niece and her husband brought dinner over, yesterday, so the kidcat's regular routine was interrupted. It took her a few tries to feel confident enough to come out and mingle. Once she saw Madoc and Gryff getting so much attention, she figured it was 'safe'.
Arthur kept Carys company, somewhere in hiding. He's such a gentleman.
