Litter box hack

For those who don't already know, it's recommended that you buy a new litter box every once in awhile because scratches in the bottom collect bacteria etc over time, and eventually the box can't be cleaned properly and will still smell bad afterwards.

But, the kind of litter boxes many of us prefer can be pretty costly.

I have solved the problem by finding a combination of a large enclosed box and a smaller "cheap" litter box that will fit together. Now I can keep the large expensive one and just change out the smaller cheap one.

As a bonus, there's a little gap between them at the exit, so most of the "exit litter" lands inside the larger box instead of on the floor.
