Rhian and Bronwyn are keeping warm

When I first checked, Dylan was with them. He's now out having a second go at the food bowls. I had Tegan out so I could clean and medicate her eye.

I'll put more straw in, today. And maybe an old towel so they can snuggle in and cover up, at night.

They're so lucky to have a caring human looking out for them!

I have a medium igloo style dog house that i put on my front porch just in case the kitties that I have been feeding want somewhere to get out of the elements. i have cleaned out the old straw and need to refill it.

It looks like you have a few inches of it in the picture above.

To make it at least six inches deep-ish. But if you put more on top of a 6" bed, they will sort of make a nest and that will help keep them warm.

My 2 cents.

I just keep adding on top. In the Spring I'll replace it with totally fresh straw.
