Odd problem with one of my cats.

She refuses to come down off the cat tree.

She has a cat littler pan on the tree, plus food and water.
If I dismantled the cat tree, she'd pee on my kitchen table.

She HATES my other cat Kira, just don't know. It's been 6 months now since I got Kira.

She did a similar behavior when we got a dog. She went to the top the hutch in the kitchen and
stayed their for months. After several months, she developed a serious bladder infection.
I took her to the vet who said her behavior was endangering her life.

When we returned home she never went up there again. She never liked the dog and
let her know it, but she went back to being her normal self.

How old is she? Is she responsive to your touch? Last question, do you have some sort of camera that you can record her through te night? Main question is does she appear to be in distress?

Raven is 6 years old now.

I just wish she would come down to the floor.

7. I would try to rekindle something special that you used to do with her, i.e. a lap blanket, peekaboo etc

I would not say they became great friends but tolerated each other. They would share lap time in cold weather. They both lived to be 20 and died within 6 months of each other. Good luck

6. Might try Feliway or some other calmative.

It might help her anxiousness. I've got nine, and they all get into their snits and cliques. I feel for you. I used the Feliway and it seemed to help the last adult I rescued to adjust more easily. It just wasn't cheap...

if a person has two cats set up three litter boxes.

I have three cats. One of the males has been a real pain to the sadly rescued declawed female. She has no defense.Try as I might in this situation it is not going so great after 2 years still but it is mostly because someone hacked her toes off above the top knuckles. She is a mess. If she were normal am sure it would have worked out by now.
