I bought a bag of kibble, this morning, and didn't realize there was a RIP in the bag until I picked it up to bring it inside. Had I picked it up by the opposite end, it would have been fine. Instead, like the story of Hansel and Gretel, I left a trail of 'kibble crumbs' that leads to my front door. Fortunately for the outdoor kidcats, the only thing at the end of the trail is, well, no more kibble.
I did manage to clean some of it up so they will get that later on.

(9,695 posts)My boys will find a way to rip it open and help themselves. Even the hard-to-open plastic bags (Purina One) they will chew open. Its like I starve them, especially 21-lb Charlie.

She could go to the space between the cupboard and the ceiling (which she often does, just to gaze down at me) and then flip open that cupboard from above. She has not figured that out yet. It would still be hard to get to the kibble bag from above because it's on the lower shelf of the upper cupboard.
(I'm always trying to anticipate what she might do and outwit her on it. Sometimes it works. Other times, not so much.)
