At a little after 5, this morning, she tunneled beneath the duvet and curled up against my stomach. And was she ever purring! She fell asleep and every time I moved the tiniest bit, she'd hook her paws into my pajamas. She is one toasty little girl.
Then it turned in to a black cat event. Gryff climbed up and stretched out on me. Now, I rarely hear him purr but I sure did, this morning.
Arthur soon joined the cuddle puddle. Both Carys and Madoc were next to the bed. I guess Madoc was taking a break from his 'wake up mom' duty.

All that snuggling and purring sure is a good way to end the sleeping session.

(27,291 posts)She had some issues with her car and is coming from quite a distance.
I have noticed quite a difference in Ember, since bringing her inside. Her eyes are MUCH clearer and she's interacting with her sisters much more than I saw when they were all outside.
If the pick up does happen, today, Rhian and Bronwyn will go back outside to be with their mom and buddies. The weather is going to be warm, for November, and I'll get the porch ready for them, should the weather turn. I'm going to buy a Blink mini indoor camera so I can keep an eye on who is coming and going.

(92,732 posts)A safe and pleasant drive. I have traveled that route many times, it is rather long, even in a car.
I like the porch idea and the blink camera thing. It will be interesting to see who is coming and going.
Had a massage earlier this week, day after the snow stopped falling, my masseuse and I were discussing how you can see who has been tracking through your yard and how it was interesting to see what a wildlife highway it turns out to be. I sometimes see deer pass by my windows as they graze my flower garden, or just trample it, two feet from the window but I was surprised by the other critter tracks I saw, not sure what it was yet.
Since the snowy weather cleared up it's been fairly warm and sunny with some rain but well above freezing at night, about 50 miles east of here it's been a different story but now that's warming up today. We're right on the margin of two vast air masses of very different temperatures and sometimes where they collide. It's as exciting as being between the big lakes!
Hope the day goes well!
