Precious little Ember is on her way to her new home

This was a hard parting. She is so small that I constantly worried about her. Since bringing her in, last Friday, she has thrived and grown. She was starting to follow me around.

Ember has a vet visit already scheduled for this afternoon so I gave her mom the names of the eye ointment and de wormer I've used. Her eyes are much better but I have no doubt she will be given eye drops and maybe antibiotics.

Bronwyn and Rhian have returned to an expanded universe. They are back outside with easy access to the enclosed back porch where they will find water, a cozy bed and, if they choose, food. Undoubtedly they will spend some time in the sun room, too.

I wasn't sure if this would happen, today. I brought her out as soon as I got word the pick up would happen, and had some lovely snuggle time with her.

I sent her off with food, water, and even a make shift litter box because it's a long drive home.

I doubt the older ferals will venture inside, but most of the younger ones have already spent time in the enclosed porch. I can keep an eye on things through a window in the dining room that looks out on that porch.

But you know she's going to have a great home with all the things she needs to be a happy kitty!
