Related: About this forumI went out to check on the porch kittens
Just Rhian, Bronwyn and Dylan were inside. I sat down on the old glider and all three immediately jumped up on my lap. They went in to purr and nuzzle overload. Bronwyn was VERY talkative. She's the only really vocal one in the clowder.
I did a little yard work and Rhys came bumbling out to join me. He just settled down in the sun and watched me trimming back trees, rose bushes and hibiscus stems. I found another of those insidious Bradford Pear trees hiding in the Mock Orange so I brought out my chain saw. The kittens didn't flinch.
The next couple of days will be unusually warm. Especially tomorrow. I'm planning on rearranging the porch and finally setting up the camera. I also want to spend some time outside, playing with the kittens. I think we might be tearing carpet out of the house, this weekend, so they won't get much attention. I'm VERY excited about getting rid of that carpet. There's beautiful wood floors beneath it and I LOVE wood floors. I'm going to save some of the carpet to use in making some scratching posts for the kidcats.
