Who wouldn't let me sing. I had to lock her out of the house or go on campus to rehearse, for years.

That was the only real conflict we had. I wasn't performing when she first came to my home and she was horrified that I had suddenly taken to making weird sounds and she wasn't having it. She'd try to bite me to make me snap out of whatever was possessing me.

I only know a couple of licks, but when I tried to practice the dogs would all start howling at the top of their lungs. They didn't like the harmonica at all.

...or when I play my flute. I can't figure out if she is trying to participate or protesting and saying, "Knock it off, I don't like that."
