Sian is the Mistress of Mischief
She is keeping me jumping, that's for sure. Any time I hear a strange or alarming noise, particularly something involving glass, I run to find out what she's in to. Any time I open the sliding door so I can go feed the porch babies, she dashes through it. Well, until she realizes that the sun room isn't heated. Then she heads back into the den.
And oh does she LOVE catnip! When I'm feeling particularly down, I bring out the catnip jar and within just a few seconds I'm completely distracted from my woes.
Nothing is safe on the kitchen counter so I have to be VERY careful. I use a lot of garlic and love home made chocolate desserts. The other day I grabbed her just before she stepped on a burner I had just turned off.
When I'm attempting to transform my 'bed head' into something civilized looking, she jumps up on the bathroom vanity, stands up so her paws are on me and she insists on giving me head nuzzles. When not giving me head nuzzles she's walking back and forth, just bumping up against me, or playing with the curling brush cord. All the while she's purring up a storm.
And none of the bigger kidcats are safe from her. Last night she was chasing Madoc around the house. He finally jumped up on the mantel, in an attempt to get away from her. I think the only one she doesn't chase is Carys.
Hmmm. It's unusually quiet, right now. Sometimes that's more concerning than hearing a strange noise. I'd better go double check that there's nothing stealthy going on.
