Sweet little Carys FINALLY gave me a slow blink

I've been blinking at her, all week. Sometimes she turns her head and sometimes she just stares at me. This morning she FINALLY blinked back!

I've also noticed she's spending more time in what ever room I'm in, and doesn't always race away when I walk by. In fact, I can pass to within inches of her and she will sit quietly and watch me. When the other kidcats pile up on my lap, she watches them. I keep hoping she will join them. She does hang around with them much more than before, so that's encouraging. And she's really in to chasing the laser light.

So she remains a challenge. A very sweet, cute challenge. I sometimes wonder if I should have just put her back outside, after she was spayed, but at least I know she's safe, inside with the rest of us.

But it seems with my cats, when my focus is on them they always react but if my focus is something else, they stay put and ignore me right back lol.
No scientific proof, just my "observation".

Testing you and watching you and all the other kitty kids. Once she figures it out, she will be your most loyal and true of them all.

She's one of the newer kids in the house too. The fact that you got a slow blink back is a great sign. I think your patience will pay off. Good luck with little Carys!
