I walked past Madoc on the steps and didn't stop to pet him (I was rushing around)

I turned around to see a big version of the little sad faced kitten that I rescued. Naturally, I went back and remedied that offense. Here's a reminder of what I mean.

Now he's sitting down and staring at me. Sorry, buddy, I've got to feed the outdoor furbabies!

I must admit, I resemble that remark this morning.
Daughter gave me some lovely chocolates last week, and amazingly enough, they’re only half gone!
Still a bit early for chocolate, but it’s on the schedule. Thanks, Madoc!

Every day they get kisses, scritches, hugs, songs and even the occasional dance.

My cousin, who has always been a dog guy, was totally taken in by the kidcats. He said they aren't that different acting than his dogs! I guess he anticipated some aloofness. I rarely saw him without Gryff or Sian in his arms.

I remember that! And he's such a handsome cat now, but those looks are forever!

Looking at this picture makes me feel good knowing that his life is one of love and family, safety and hundred comfy places to sleep.

Especially when I'm out with the porch kidcats. I wish I could just bring them all in to the house, but I have to be practical. At least they are protected and sheltered, and they get regular kisses and scritches from me and who ever might be here for a visit.

The weather has yet to turn wintery but I'm going to put out more straw and shelter boxes.
