Not looking forward to the fireworks tonight.

My dogs go berserk. I've tried different calming treats and even "ACE", a sedative from the vet. Nothing helps. I have a Thunder Shirt, no luck. I have some hemp seed chews I'll try tonight.

It's insane. I hope it's not as back as July 4th.

1. The pyrotechnics have already started here

In fact, for the last couple of days. My kitty hides in my closet n I try to keep some music going in my bedroom for her.

3. I'm usually asleep by 9:30.

And I might be asleep by the time the noise starts - and my dogs will wake me up barking. I'll try to stay awake so I can play music for them but I will probably nod off.

2. My older dog used to have a huge problem with that.

Now she's deaf and can just sleep through it

4. There have been some fireworks in the last few hours. .and just now!!! Does

not seem to matter that it is illegal!

Gave my kitteh "Quiet Moments" (a melatonin compound), and his favourite catnip/passion flower treat. He is stretched out sleeping on my lap right now.
