Related: About this forumI'm going to write a screenplay titled 'The Madness of Prince Madoc'
This morning he was acting like a Krazy Kat.
It's normal for him to pounce on my feet and try to pull the duvet off of me as a way to let me know he wants breakfast. NOW!!!
This morning that behavior continued well beyond what was an early breakfast. I tried, I really, really tried to fall back asleep after I dished up their food. Madoc decided that was not to be. He finished eating and then returned to pouncing. And pouncing. And pouncing. They he decided to psych me by curling up next to me and act like he was behaving. I took a look and he was staring ominously at the ceiling. As soon as I looked up, he started attacking my feet. Again!! I finally gave up any hope of a late start to my day.
On a bright note, as I walked past the living room I noticed Sian intently staring out the window. Sweet Dylan was on the other side but he wasn't paying attention to her, despite her frantically pawing at the glass. He was staring very wistfully at me.
It's going to be in the low 70's today so I will take advantage of that and give the porch another good sweep. They might be transitioning back outside much earlier than I anticipated. And, yes, the porch will always be available for shelter from bad weather and for snuggles when I'm using it.

(27,257 posts)I read, somewhere, at 1" of rain equals 10" of snow so at least we got SOME moisture in to the ground.
