Holy Crap! LilG just sprinted, a marathon.

It's been fairly quiet, since I adopted her.
She just did 45 minutes of zoomies.
She was jumping, running, would stop, at my chair, I talked to her, petted her, and she was off, and running, again.
I've been a pet daddy to cats and dogs before, (my Stripe cat ashes are right beside MrsK)
Should I worry about LilG?

Hi Koz and Lil G. The zoomies are a cats way of releasing energy, a healthy way to release Ziggysmom May 2024 #4
My 18 year old cat still occasionally gets the zoomies. I see it as a sign of good health. Midnight Writer May 2024 #5

I read that they often zoom after using the litter box, which can stimulate the vagus nerve.

But 45 minutes is a long time for zoomies, so if she seems startled or upset as she zooms, there's an off chance she might have fleas.

She's probably glad to be home, away from the dreaded car rides. She's probably expressing the joy of being in her home, with her human. Nothing to worry about.
