Breakfast on patio at the diner this morning with my favorite child.

Duncan my golden retriever boy, I ordered eight eggs over easy piece toast each I’ll have them do lite butter on his no home fries and 4 turkey sausage patties. We split it even he is having his in styrofoam takeout container, yet he eats his so fast then looks at me like come old man share my plate is empty clearly you have more than i had.

Then we’re off to the park to walk the trails stalk bloodthirsty chipmunks and visit our herd of ducks. To make sure all our ducks are in a row tell you the Canadian geese at this park they are nasty.

My rescue short fat Main Coon kitty dropped the mouse she caught at the foot of my bed. Gave her a little extra breakfast.

6. Chipmunks are surprisingly aggressive

We throw unshelled peanuts out on the back deck so our cat Nicky can watch the squirrels through the sliding glass door. What I've noticed is that the red squirrels are always chasing after the grey squirrels but the chipmunks chase after the reds.

12. We used to do that

But the squirrels would sit right in front of the door staring at the cat while eating their peanuts and it would drive her crazy. She hit that glass door more times than I can count.

eats all his food in half a minute then spends five minutes licking the plate.

Spoiling my golden. Cinnamon rolls at the farmers market. One for him and one for me.

Eats her bowl full in half a minute then comes over to mooch from me. C’mon Mom, that was just an appetizer. You don’t expect me to live on that, do you. I’ll waste away to nothing!
