She does, I don't make a big deal of it, although I want to do a happy dance, and she seems very relaxed with the interaction.

Her sister, Moon, is just about the same as Carys. Her brother, Space Boy, is a little more social AND a real rascal. They were about 5 months old when we finally caught them. Space Boy was pretty comfortable with me. Moon, not so much but she'd approach me. Carys always stayed far back and never, ever approached me. I was shocked when my friend was able to catch her, by hand and without gloves.
