We are trying a gofundme for our beloved Cece

We are parents of a rescue cat, her name is Cece. Our names are Glenn and Elizabeth. We adopted Cece in 2016 - the picture is of the day we got her. She was approximately 3 years old at the time, so she is now about 11 or 12. Within the past week she suddenly began eating less food and eating litter. We brought her in, and they said she was anemic and had a low platelet count. The vet recommended we take her to an emergency hospital for a transfusion. The hospital is now doing additional bloodwork and a chest x-ray which will cost about $1,100. Before even knowing what the problem is, they have estimated the cost of a hospital stay and additional diagnostics and treatment at $4,500 to $10,000! We are not ready to say goodbye to her yet, and we feel she is young enough to make it worth the effort - but we just cannot afford it. We love her very much and she has the sweetest disposition. Without yet knowing more (we'll update asap) the hospital gives her a 33% chance of recovery. If you can help us, we would be eternally grateful. Thank you!
