I'm overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, affection and support from everyone who replied to my post about Chi Chi.

Though I cried most of the day Tuesday, I was finally able to get some rest. That definitely helped the situation.

All of your support means so much to me. I feel as lifted by you all as if I had grown wings.

Most of all I'm thankful she's still here and one more day is the most I can hope for and I'll do that one day at the time.

You all are so lovely and wise. I deeply appreciate your thoughtfulness.

4. She's right beside me snoozing away. She's been eating and drinking.

I had to hand feed her the individual pieces of the chicken flavor kibble she likes because she's so uncoordinated she was dropping every third piece.

But she ate the contents of half of her bowl. That's pretty good for her under regular circumstances.

Right now because she's sleeping I'm going to take the opportunity to wash her clothes and blankets. I want to be ready for the cool down to the night weather we're getting ready to have since she's lost most of her coat.

I washed her clothes and the baby blankets I have collected for her over the years. I'm trying to focus on the ways she's enriched my life. But you're so right. Thanks for your reply. ❤️
