Merlin is enjoying the shift from milk to slurry
Still feeding via a bottle. I just snipped off the end of the nipple. Hopefully he will start eating out of a bowl, as messy as that can be. His early morning poo was quite impressive, probably due to the inclusion of pate to his diet. It will be great to watch him really start to grow. His teeth are fully erupted and he's doing a lot of self grooming, so that's on target for his age. I figure he's about a week behind on size.
Last night he and I fell asleep in the recliner. He had his 2am feeding and then I stretched out on the sofa with him curled up on my shoulder. After a few minutes Arthur climbed up and started making biscuits on me. He finally settled down on my legs and we all fell asleep. I think it's safe to say that Merlin is now an accepted part of the kid cat's lives.
Everyone is heading out on a road trip, tomorrow. I'll stay home with Merlin so I can get some house cleaning done AND maybe even take a quality nap.
