Are we allowed to push pet charities here?

I ask bc there's a Raleigh-based cat shelter trying to make room for displaced WNC cats coming in.

I am on a fixed budget, but I'll give them $25 to sponser a cat of my choice. Sponsers' names are attached to the cats cage.Let me know if it is allowed here. My apologizes if not.

This seems like part of the emergency response to the hurricane, not an everyday posting for a random pet charity.
