Look who is eating out of a bowl!!

Merlin bumbled in to the kitchen and started munching away on a scrap of food in one of the big kid's bowls. I grabbed the kitten slurry, got him his own bowl, and he dove right in!

This will make my life SO much easier!!

It's hard to think of him as being at least 5 weeks old, and plenty ready for this kind of thing, because he's so tiny Siwsan Oct 17 #7

As I was cleaning him up I thought DAMN, I should have gotten a photo of his foodie face!

Now he's curled up on my friend's shoulder, giving mine a break.

This morning he pounced on me, and went to war with the strap on the playpen. Now to get him to CONSISTENTLY use his litter box.

I remember, when I fostered kittens, how some would just put their face in the bowl & end up with their face covered in food. Food face. It's a wonder they didn't drown, but they were fine.

Merlin is thinking "I like the foodz! The foodz is good!"

I suppose it could have been cereal in a bowl with a spoon, but I did have a pretty good idea I was going to see a little black furball, though.

Cheers!

I'm all grown up, see?
Eating out of a bowl, like a big boy!
Expect purrs and sleepiness afterwards!

You may observe some excretory effects from his change in diet though. 8-)
