I was stretched out on the sofa, watching 'American Greed' with Merlin curled up on my shoulder. Arthur came in to the room, jumped up on the sofa, took a look at Merlin and instead of dashing off, he started making biscuits and then curled up on my legs. BIG change in Arthur.
I noticed that Merlin has started to go to the play pen to snuggle with his plush toy when he naps. Last night, for the first time, he spent the entire night with his snuggle buddy and this morning that's where he had his slurry breakfast.
Of course, right now when I should be cleaning the kitchen, he's cuddled up in the crook of my arm.
He's still pretty small but his ears are becoming quite impressive and he does a great imitation of a vampire with h is little needle teeth. I'm falling FAR behind on chores because I don't want to miss if he does something new. His little kitten kisses are becoming quite a frequent treat.

(6,849 posts)It's just you and the kitties again! I'm pretty sure you said you were gonna spend the next few days just playing with the critters.

(360 posts)My little ones are now six months old. I so miss that tiny kitten time I had with them. My little female only weighs 3.6 pounds. Her brother tops out at 7 pounds. They rule the roost. My grown cats think they are play toys.
I love your posts.
