I think nothing will be safe from Merlin because he's perfecting his climbing skills.

Just yesterday I was still kind of assisting him in his ascent and he was still a little uncertain about what to do. This morning I put him in his playpen while I ran some errands, Came home to find him sleeping so I unzipped the playpen door and sat down. A few minutes later I felt him clawing his way up my leg and was he ever FAST.

He kept climbing until he reached his destination and now his head is tucked under my chin and he's purring away.

Merlin is already responding to his own special song and comes bumbling out from where ever he is when I start to sing.

I should mix up some more slurry for him. I've given up on a feeding schedule. I just keep something available and when he starts to enthusiastically chew on me (especially on my NECK!!!) I give him some slurry.

On a side note, I think Carys was out, this morning. When I walked in to the kitchen I heart a scramble of kitty feet and she was the only unaccounted for kid cat. I'll just keep moving her food bowl further and further out from beneath the bed and spray that area with kitty calm.

You know Halloween is coming. Maybe she is practicing her Vampira 🧛?♀️ impression.

I will wait to put any food beneath the bed, this afternoon, until I see if she will venture out to eat with the boys.
